My PYP training includes, Making the PYP Happen, Science and Social studies in the PYP, Lire et écrire dans le context du PP, and MYP in-school training. I have a decade of teaching across grade levels, and all in second language settings. I taught ESL in Hekinan, Aichi Prefecture, Japan, three years teaching middle and high school for the Kativik School Board in Kuujjuaq, Quebec, (a fly in Inuit community). Taught grade 5/6 at Escuela Bilingüe Honduras, in Comayagua, Honduras. Two and a half years teaching grade 5/6 at the International School of Lyon, in Lyon, France. Senior Kindergarten and grade 2/3 and grade 1/2 at Académie de la Capitale. For the 2014-2015 year, I will remain at Acadecap, but will be the PYP English teacher, and the PYP and MYP physical and health education teacher. The most valuable thing I have learned in my career and travels is that listening is much more important than talking.
